i have a XOne controller that i have been using okay for almost 2 years. Around the end of last year it just started suddently stop working in the middle of a gaming session. The light will keep blinking like when its searching for a bluetooth device, except on my computer it still show up as paired. When i try to unpair then pair it again it still won't work. I tried every kind of fix but nothing work except roll back my window to an earlier date.
After the first time it happened once more a week later, and i still have to roll back my window to fix it. Then it's working fine for a few months, it happened again last month but it working again after i turn it off a few time, no need to roll back. Now it just happened again, reseting it does nothing, and i really don't want to roll back my window again. For the fix, i tried updating the driver, delete and re-install the driver, update motherboard driver, connect using an USB cable, turn it off and on, turn bluetooth off and on, turn my computer off and on .etc.. Literally everything fail except rolling back my computer.
But i don't believe that is the only way to fix this, i contacted window and xbox support, they used teamviewer to check it but they also have no idea what's wrong. I really want some other solution, because rolling back everytime it happens is a big hassle.
EDIT: I'm using the wireless controller and window 10, i tried to do a system restore but all of my restore point were deleted. Now i truly have no idea what to do.
